APOCALYPSE - B&M Stand-up
Having watched this park grow from a small water park to a full fledged Six Flags park, it's great to see another wold class ride getting installed in 2012.
Construction has finally started with the park posting this thread to their twitter account.
Does anyone have any additional updates or thoughts on how this new ride will impact the park?

I welcome the ride. I rode it at SFGAM and it was getting dark so I do not have too many pictures of it. I wish it got new trains.

I am happy that SFA is getting a new attraction (even though it is used). It has been YEARS that they gotten something and I was thinking that Six Flags might close them down like Kentucky Kingdom. But now I hope there safe and they get more attractions yearly like other Six Flags Parks and wont close down.
I also think Apocalypse will bring in more people to the park because the General Public seems extremely excited.

Re: APOCALYPSE - B&M Stand-up
I agree. I always considered this park to be a joke but they could very well turn around with this addition. Hopefully they'll really concentrate on making it more of a full-fledged Six Flags park and offering a wide variety of attractions - both current and future, whether it'd be new coasters, flats or both. IMO, I'd like to see a mix of both.

Its been several years since I have been to a six flags park and I think they are a joke compared to hreshey b/c 1. You hear of a lot more accidents at six flags parks.&2. HP only has one park to worry about and is able to focus all of their resources on one place unlike six flags parks where some parks get neglected.
Also HP does everything they can to maintain the rides and not just get rid of them when they aren't working right. Am I right feel free to correct me

Re: APOCALYPSE - B&M Stand-up
Looking nice! Now hopefully in the next season or so, they can round out their ride collection and fill in the gaps in the back of the park so the walk back to Batwing won't be so boring.

Re: APOCALYPSE - B&M Stand-up
Hopefully! SFA is one of the "low class" Six Flags parks, and I hate to see any low class parks.... Maybe more entertainment will come soon to SFA, but who knows....

Re: APOCALYPSE - B&M Stand-up
Just like GrAdv, I'd love for SFA do receive a bunch of flats to round out their collection. That's what's putting them in low ranking. They need to fix up the overall park and add more flats to the place. Even though this was a used coaster, at least it's a "new" coaster to start off, now they should follow the trend of adding some flats followed by another coaster.

Wow, great pic! Looks like it's all coming together nicely, considering it's a used ride.
